César E. Chávez Photo Exhibit

César E. Chávez: A Reflection, is an exhibition of photographs of César E. Chávez, the founder of the United Farm Workers. The exhibit goes on display at the Mexican Cultural Institute near downtown Los Angeles starting March 30th, 2006. The collection of enthralling black and white photographs taken of the UFW leader by acclaimed photographer George Rodriguez, illustrate the important legacy of Chávez and the people's movement he inspired. Many of these photos have never been seen before! The exhibit will be held on LA's historic Olvera Street, at the Mexican Cultural Institute. The Artist's Reception/Opening takes place on Thursday, March 30th, 2006, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The exhibit runs until April 28th, 2006.
