Tracy
Villa Carrera is best known for painting women, wine,
and the sensual, she cites as her biggest influences
John Singer Sargent, the Mexican muralists, Sue Coe,
James Montgomery Flagg, Russian realism, and Berte
Morisot.
Carrera
attended Weber State University in the early 1990s,
and finished her BFA and MFA degrees at Utah State
University in Logan, Utah. She's currently represented
by Carnahan Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.
