LUIS J. RODRIGUEZ... One of the founders of Tia Chucha's Cafe Cultural, editor/founder of Tia Chucha Press and Dos Manos Records, and cofounder/editor of Xispas.com. He was also director of the LA Latino Writers Association in East LA and publisher/editor of the pioneering Xicano magazine, XismeArte in the early 1980s. He now has eight books published and a CD, including the international best seller "Always Running."

JOE BRAVO ... The talented and multifaceted Fine Artist who designed the Xispas logo.

HECTOR GONZALEZ... Award-winning music producer, filmmaker and head of Ramparts Records.

LAVA GONZALEZ... Co-Ramparts Records owner.

SERGIO HERNANDEZ... Possesses a "cartoon mind" that enables him to humorously capture the most alarming reality in a simple pen and ink sketch. Serg was also on the editorial board of Con Safos in the 70's and 80's. He's also a Fine Artist who exhibits his paintings in Galleries and Museums.

DIANE HERNANDEZ... Educator, activist, and community leader.

RUBI MENDOZA... Writer

JAMES RODRIGO RETANA... has been published in the Los Angeles Times Opinion Section, was a guest on KPFK 90.7 FM Pacifica Radio station's "Democracy Now!" program where he discussed his experiences as a former officer on the LAPD. He has recently completed his first novel.

ALISHA M. ROSAS... Writer

RACHEL SHELTON... Graduated from Pomona College with a BA in English. She has been a freelance editor for the last three years and really enjoys reading and editing the written word.

JEANNINE THORPE ... Writer, artist, activist.

MARK VALLEN ... An accomplished Painter and Printmaker who is well known for his serious works of social realism. Founder of the "Art For A Change" website. Also webmaster for Xispas.

JIM VELARDE... Award-winning TV producer and documentarian. Velarde won ten Emmy Awards for his production work at CBS Network Television. His multi-faceted Production Company, "Creative Teamwork Entertainment Inc.", includes film, Television, Music, Live Concerts and Management. Under his Independent Record Label, Fandango Records, he has produced various music groups.
